Ink Review #17: J. Herbin Diabolo Menthe

I think I may have discovered a Tiffany Blue ink! Today I'll be reviewing J. Herbin's Diabolo Menthe. This is a pastel light blue that is suitable for spring.

Diabolo Menthe means "Peppermint Soda" in French. Apparently, this is a real drink! it is made by mixing green mint syrup in lemonade or club soda. This drink is a true green unlike its J. Herbin counterpart.

This is a light baby blue with low shading and no sheen.

I had to use this ink in a medium nib as it was washed out and pale in my Lamy Fine nib. Overall, this is a well-behaved ink and I did not experience any writing issues.

Overall: Diabolo Menthe is an entrancing pastel blue with a unique color palette. It is best used in medium or broad nibs.
