Ink Review #202: Aurora Black — Fountain Pen Pharmacist

Today I’ll be reviewing Aurora Black. This is a smooth, standard black.

Swabs:

This ink had low shading and no sheen. There were no apparent undertones.

Dry Time/Water Resistance:

This ink had a moderate dry time at 20 seconds and medium water resistance.

Writing Sample:

I found that this ink behaved quite well with a consistent, wet flow. In my opinion, it dried quickly without smearing.

Overall: I liked Aurora Black quite a lot. It is pleasant to use and is a lovely black that would work well for notes or meetings.
