Ink Review #276: Robert Oster Shake & Shimmer Black 'N' Blue

Today marks a new start as it is the first post in yet another ink review notebook! I like to use Tomoe River Paper and buy Hobonichi Techno A5 notebooks off of amazon. Today’s shimmer ink is not black according to its name—on the contrary, it’s more of a dark muted green.

Swabs:

This ink had medium shading, low sheen, and high glitter. The color is a dusty green but the glitter makes this ink reflect bright blue.

This ink had a long dry time at 45 seconds and medium water resistance. As shown above, this ink has pink undertones (which was a surprise).

This was a very pretty color—I’m not sure where the “black” comes from in the name. It reminds me of a faded forest green. I liked the blue glitter and found that this ink had consistent, average flow. T

Overall: I definitely recommend trying this ink out, it’s a very interesting color!
