Ink Review #292: Tono & Lims No. 8 Leaves Turn Yellow

Today I’ll be reviewing another T&L ink from their Standard Line. Where I live, the seasons are sporadic and we don’t have a clearly defined “spring/fall/winter”. I don’t remember seeing yellow leaves on trees—perhaps a week or so where there are orange/yellow leaves on the ground.

This ink had low shading and no sheen. The color is a warm gold with hints of brown and orange. It is similar to Diamine Honey Burst.

I liked this color a lot! It reminded me of summer days and the fall. (One could say, when leaves turn yellow). It was well behaved with an average flow. There was some shading that showed even with my posting nib.

Overall: This is a beautiful autumn ink! It has a fast dry time (which I’m preferential to).
