Ink Review #437: PenBBS #519 Blue-Green — Fountain Pen Pharmacist

Today I will be reviewing a lovely dark teal from PenBBS. I have to say that PenBBS has greatly impressed me with their inks! Their selection is large and varied, and the prices are not too expensive (at $18/35 mL).

Swabs:

This ink had low shading and low sheen. The color is a very pleasant dark blue-green. It reminds me of deep ocean waters.

Dry Time/Water Resistance:

This ink had a long dry time at 40 seconds and low water resistance.

Writing Sample:

This ink had an average flow. The color is fantastic; the green hues are apparent but subtle.

Overall: This is a unique blue-green with great shading. I definitely recommend checking it out!
