Ink Review #657: Sheaffer Red

Today’s post will review Sheaffer Red.

Swabs:

Sheaffer Red had no shading or sheen. It is a classic, lipstick-bright red.

Dry Time/Water Resistance:

Sheaffer Red had an average dry time of 35 seconds and low water resistance.

Writing Sample:

I found that this ink flowed nicely without any hard starts or skips. It was well-behaved with an average, slightly wet flow.

Overall: I liked this sample a lot and recommend it if you are looking for a classic red ink! It’s well-behaved and relatively unobtrusive.
