Ink Review #721: 3 Oysters Dancheong — Fountain Pen Pharmacist

Today I will be reviewing 3 Oysters' Dancheong which translates to King’s Palace Red.

Swabs:

Dancheong is a standard red with low shading and sheen. It has no other undertones or hues.

Dry Time/Water Resistance:

This ink had an average dry time of 35 seconds and medium/high water resistance.

Writing Sample:

Dancheong had an average flow and medium saturation. I found the ink to be smooth , and did not experience any hard starts.

Overall:

Dancheong is a well-behaved, vibrant red. It is similar to other red inks that I have reviewed so I won’t be purchasing a bottle.
