Ink Review #756: Kyo No Oto #03 Koke-Iro

Readers, I hope everyone is doing well! I recently conducted a poll on Instagram regarding this blog. In order to focus on rotations and boards, I will only post once a week (instead of twice). I hope this information is not too disconcerting. And now, to our review for today: Kyo No Oto #03 Koke-Iro.

Swabs:

Koke-Iro translates to “Grass Green” and is a yellow-green high shading and no sheen.

Tomoe River Paper 52 gsm

Dry Time/Water Resistance:

This ink had a dry time of 20 seconds and low water resistance.

Writing Sample:

Koke-Iro had a dry flow with average saturation.

Overall: This is a beautiful ink with fantastic shading! The saturation makes the color legible. It is dry, so I would recommend Vaness’ White Lightning or large nibs.

Disclaimer: This ink was purchased by me and all opinions/photos are my own. This post was not sponsored.
