Ink Review #250: Taccia Aka Red — Fountain Pen Pharmacist

I can’t believe it’s already August! Today’s post is perfect for this hot summer month. Aka Red is a true red with gold sheen.

Swabs:

This ink had no shading and medium sheen. The color is a bright standard red without any other hues. It reminds me of Lunar New Year envelopes, especially with the gold accents.

Dry Time/Water Resistance:

This ink had a surprisingly fast dry time at 20 seconds and low/medium water resistance.

Writing Sample:

I had no issues with this ink. It behaved well and had a moderately wet, consistent flow.

Overall: This is a festive red ink with a great flow and sheen.
