Ink Review #281: Colorverse Hayabusa Glistening

It’s been a while since I’ve reviewed a Colorverse ink! The Colorverse Glistening lineup is the equivalent of shimmer/glitter inks. I’m still undecided on whether or not I like the word glistening—it reminds me of a less offensive version of the word “moist”.

Hayabusa, and its counterpart Hayabusa Glistening, was released as a 2018 Tokyo Special Edition ink.

This ink had medium shading and silver glitter. The color is a bright purple—I would describe this as violet purple.

This ink had a quick dry time of 15 seconds and no water resistance.

This ink had a wet and consistent flow. I’m happy to say that the glitter was consistent throughout the entire writing sample! I didn’t experience any skips or nib cloggings during this review.

Overall: I liked this ink a lot. It’s a fantastic bright purple.
