Ink Review #412: Diamine Oxford Blue — Fountain Pen Pharmacist

Today we will be reviewing Diamine Oxford Blue, a medium blue.

Swabs:

This ink had medium. shading and medium sheen. The color is a standard blue without any apparent undertones. Similar colors include Diamine Majestic Blue and Tono & Lims Horten 229

Dry Time/Water Resistance:

This ink had a long dry time at 40 seconds and low water resistance.

Writing Sample:

I found this ink had a wet but manageable flow. It is quite pretty and behaved well.

Overall: This is a medium blue with lovely shading.
