Ink Review #661: Lennon Tool Bar Celastrina Sugitanii Shirozui

Today I would like to share a mini-update—I celebrated my 30th birthday recently and as a result, can no longer refer to myself as being in the late twenties. Ironically, my younger self always assumed that I would be wildly successful with a picket-fence house, family, and job—not a permanent student slogging through lectures and flashcards!

For today, we will be taking a look at Lennon Tool Bar Celastrina Sugitanii Shirozui. This ink was part of the 2020 Spring Limited Series.

Swabs:

Celastrina Sugitanii Shirozui is a deep bluish purple with low shading and no sheen. The color reminds me of blueberries.

This ink had a lovely wet flow.

Overall: I liked this color a lot! It’s a mature purple with a smooth flow.
