Ink Review #662: Vinta Inks Collection Pastel Blue Shimmer Julio 1991

Today we will be reviewing Vinta Pastel Blue Julio, the counterpart to Vinta Pastel Julia 1991. These inks are named after the animated show The Twins of Destiny.

Swabs:

Julio had medium shading and silver glitter. It is a pale blue with purple/pink undertones.

Dry Time/Water Resistance:

This ink had an average dry time of 20 seconds and no water resistance.

Writing Sample:

Julio had a dry flow with even glitter distribution. The color would be best featured in broad nibs.

Overall: I had mixed feelings about this color. It is beautiful in large swatches, but is difficult to read with regular writing.
